Bamboo Flavone May Provide Effective Relief for Prostatitis Inflammation — Prostatitis Foundation

The Prostatitis Foundation said today that bamboo flavone may be effective in relieving symptoms of inflammation due to prostatitis as well as prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer, based on a recently-approved patent submitted by the company Future Solutions Development (FSD).
Citing recent reports, the Prostatitis Foundation said that FSD’s patent entitled “Bamboo Flavone Application in Anti-Prostate Disease Drug” was recently approved by China’s State Intellectual Property Bureau as well as by the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the international patent registration and administration organization.
The treaty makes it possible to seek patent protection for an invention simultaneously in each of a large number of countries by filing an international patent application. “The approval is the first step for FSD to enter into the markets in U.S. and Japan,” according to the online Science Letter information service.
“The bamboo flavone, as a natural extract ingredient, poses no long-term side effects to the human body,” said Science Letter editors.
